"The transformation of energy is the primary function of every living being"
This was the first sentence pronounced by Engineer Pasquale Ferorelli at the opening of the conference held in Vienna on November 10, 2018. An audience of professionals from the medical and pharmaceutical sectors as well as university students met at the Springer Schlösell conference room to study further in depth, for eight uninterrupted hours, the topics studied and put into practice by the researchers of Citozeatec, the Italian company that, through industrial biotechnologies with sequential enzymatic conversion, produced Food Supplements Biodynamic (IAB). Life is in fact a continuous whirlwind of energy that flows from the sun towards plants and animals through chemical reactions, and today we can safely say that the most advanced biochemical research allows us to identify in our organism, in our cells, the existence of a complex « biodynamic” system, designed to regulate chemical-physical phenomena which are at the origin of life itself. It is said that the perfect machine does not exist … we should instead observe ourselves to understand that energy is neither lost, nor produced, but only transformed: everything that allows us to survive is linked to the tireless role played by enzymes, functional units of the cellular metabolism. They, organized in sequences, catalyze the innumerable reactions through which nutrients are degraded, extracting energy and small precursors which are in turn used for the synthesis of molecules essential for all vital functions. By observing the role of enzymes and understanding their activity in depth we can clearly become aware that what we call « disease », it is nothing more than an « enzymatic disorder », causing an energy decompensation that must be reorganized so that our body cells can again carry out their correct activity. Proof of this comes from the clinical studies highlighted during the conference, where it was possible to observe, for example, several clinical cases related to cell regeneration: from the complete regrowth of the first phalanx of the first finger of a 3-year-old girl, to the observation of the « restitutio ad integrum » of a wound caused by an accident with a chainsaw in which nerves and tendons were damaged. All accompanied by explanations deriving from scientific research conducted at various Italian and foreign universities with which Citozeatec is in partnership: each clinical case reported was followed by the analysis of research conducted on an experimental line, validating the real potential of Biodynamic Food Supplements. With reference to the cases of tissue regeneration, the research conducted on a mouse which led to the regeneration of the spinal cord was illustrated. Confirming the theory that hypothesizes the activation of stem cells through the use, mainly, of Citozym, a biodynamic preparation containing a wide range of enzymatic activators, Ferorelli reported the case of an 83-year-old patient suffering from epithelial carcinoma of the skull base, discharged from hospital as unreactive to the proposed elective therapies. Following the use of Citozym, for topical and oral use, the images illustrated to the audience showed evident regeneration of the cranial bone and scalp, with a consequential clear improvement of life quality of the patient.
Another relevant example, confirming the ubiquity of the use of biodynamic preparations, was the case of a 20-year-old boy with a profound injury to the lumbar region following a motorbike accident: after 10-days of treatment, the photos showed skin regeneration and correct re-epithelialization, with no fibrotic tissue. The success of the event generated the project shared by participating doctors, biologists and researchers to plan a series of monothematic workshops in 2019 dedicated to the use of biodynamic preparations in the most diverse fields of use, primarily on the topic of tumor biochemistry and bacterial and viral infections, with a focus on HCV hepatitis. Subsequently, cardiovascular problems will be addressed, followed by the biochemistry of fatty acid metabolism, with an in-depth study of the enzymatic component at the base of dyslipidemias. Certainly, a programme that, in parallel with the studies and research developed by Citozeatec, will help doctors improve the medical history and treatment strategies of their patients. Not least the in-depth stages will lead us to focus on a fixed point in Ferorelli’s personal history: the teaching that comes to us from nature inevitably begins with agriculture, harmoniously completing the « vital force » once sought by philosophers and alchemists, which today we can scientifically ascribe to the incessant coordinated movement of electrons that form and break chemical bonds and orient enzymes and hormones, in line with the principles of thermodynamics. The role of enzymes, regulators of life cycles, is irrefutable: this is demonstrated by the fact that the founder of Biodynamic Enzymology uses its enzymes not only in human metabolic coordination, but also in plant physiology. Question – Clinical biodynamic enzymology is a reality today: can you describe to us its principle uses?
Answer – It is used practically everywhere: every “disease” has its basis in enzymatic imbalances and can be defined as “secondary enzymopathy”. To be clear, a primary enzyme disease represents a so-called « rare disease » and concerns single enzymes. Secondary enzymopathies may depend due to various factors (free radicals, heavy metals, toxins, viral and bacterial attacks, tumor transformation), and having understood that it is possible to intervene in these imbalances using « informed » substrates, deriving from sequential enzymatic conversion starting from organic corn starch, has opened new avenues in infectious diseases, oncology, degenerative diseases, metabolic diseases, gastrointestinal and endocrine diseases.
Question – Where is Enzymological Research going now?
Answer – It is ongoing in all the sectors I mentioned, but in particular I want to announce that our researchers are doing a lot of work in the ophthalmological field: the availability of a biodynamic preparation for local use is imminent, destined to revolutionize the ophthalmology sector; for now, I cannot go further, for obvious reasons of industrial confidentiality.
